Appointments

You can contact us three different ways:

  • Online – Using PATCHs. You can ask for a consultation with a clinician, or make an administrative request.
  • By phone – From 8.15am, Monday to Friday for same-day appointments, use our call-back function to avoid waiting in a queue. Same-day appointments are first-come first-served.
  • In person – Great to answer general queries. Please note, we are not able to book an appointment on the spot if you walk in. If you need an appointment, please call or use PATCHs.

Appointment types

In order to manage daily demand, and also be able to look after patients with long term conditions, we offer different appointments:

Urgent appointments

You should be available to come in to see our duty doctor between 9am and 1pm or 2pm and 6pm that day. If you cannot come in that day a different type of appointment will be better for you. The GP will only be able to deal with your urgent query.

GP appointments (same-day or routine)

Bookable through PATCHs or by phone. You can choose a face-to-face appointment or telephone call, face-to-face is best if you are feeling unwell.

General queries regarding your care

Please submit your query using PATCHs. If we need to book an appointment to answer it, we will get back to you, normally a phone call is best unless there is a clinical need for a face-to-face review.

Long-term conditions
